The objectives of the ALGA Education Committee are to identify the education needs of the membership and the barriers to obtaining desired education, to maintain an education plan that provides members with the most cost-effective quality education possible, to educate auditors on the need for results-oriented audits, and to keep members updated on current events and issues in the audit community through the ALGA Local Government Auditing Quarterly and by working with the Advocacy Committee.
