Thomas E. Standish, Legislative Auditor, announced his retirement from the Unified Government of Wyandotte County / Kansas City, Kansas after 33 years.  Tom graduated from Kansas University.  He began with Wyandotte County on June 9, 1975 as an accountant in the County Auditor's Office.  When Wyandotte County and City of Kansas City, Kansas unified in October, 1997, he served as interim Chief Financial Officer until November, 1999 when he was appointed as Legislative Auditor.   Tom plans to spend his retirement traveling with his wife Kali.
