Presented by the Professional Issues Committee (ALGA)Webinar Description:  “The New Yellow Book:  What You Need to Know about Chapters 1 - 3 and Performance Audit Standards”   The Association of Local Government Auditors and the U. S. Government Accountability Office will present an overview of the changes in the new Government Auditing Standards.  This webinar will cover Chapters 1 - 3 and the performance auditing standards and will provide background on the reasons for the changes.  This webinar will not review standards changes for financial audits and attestation engagements.

CPE: 2 credit The Association of Local Government Auditors is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors.  State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.  Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be addressed to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website www.learningmarket.org.
